Dr. Jahangir Alam started his academic career in University of Info. Tech. & Sciences (UITS), Bangladesh in 2006 as a Lecturer. Later on, he went for higher study in 2010 and after finishing his PhD in 2014 and joined as an Associate Professor in South China University of Technology. In the meantime he also served as Visiting Asst. Professor in Jessore University of Science & Tech., Bangladesh during 2018-2020. Moreover, he served as Visiting Asst. Professor in University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada during May-June 2018, and from June 2019 to June 2021.

Professor Jahangir Alam published more than 35 articles in peer reviewed international journals among them more than 15 articles are published in SCI indexed journals. He also participated in more than 20 research projects in China’s national and provincial levels. He has also been co-supervising PhD, master’s, and undergraduate students.

Professor Jahangir Alam has also been performing as Editorial Board Member and Reviewer of renowned journals in his expertise area.
